I have known Don since elementary school. He exhibited compassion and kindness even then. His wife Cathie is the perfect companion and life partner. Their daughter Teeter is a delight. Together, they founded a loving and caring place to embrace all of those who deal with Apert Syndrome on a daily basis, from those dealing with it personally and physically, to their families and loved ones.
The Sears family has a growing community and Apert Syndrome families around the world. They often set up cruises, beach get togethers and other fun trips helping to expand their community and encourage education about Apert Syndrome.
